I think I did use the rounded end of an old can opener, but I had to use a block of wood under it to get the leverage needed. It came off fine...just take your time. I think I started at the front and worked back. You might want to ask yourself, though, if you REALLY want to take it off. When you repaint the car and add thickness to the seam, you might have a hell of a time putting it back on, and putting it back on without damaging the paint at that. Quote Link to comment
