620 engine swap

hello i have a 1989 nissan 240s/x with single cam 2.4 and a 620 with l20b not enough power wany to put 2.4 in my truck any advice. or how to what things need to be done for this please

Best to swap the tranny too as the KA won't work properly with the truck tranny. If no tranny get one from a Z motor in a 720 and you won't need to shorrten the drive shaft. The oil pan and pick up tube from a KA24E Hardbody will fit and clear the 620 steering/suspension better than the 240sx pan.

Thinking about doing a napz or a ka swap in my 521. Any advise?

I'm grabbing the motor for a KA swap today. I as wanting to go the route of the least Fab work. So a z tranny will fit just fine? One of the biggest things I'm worried about.

yeah, the z-series trans from a 720 will work just fine. 

 

get some motor mounts from Redeye...

 

bolt it in and wire it up..

This is embarrassing. I can't seem to find what series trans was in the 78 720. There's one out here being parted out and I'm hoping its the z series I'm after.
