mike
I need to replace the idler arm on my wagon and I was wondering if anybody knew the nissan part #s for the rebuild kit. Also, Are there any quick cheap fixes for the rear of a wagon to make them not so "mushy"? The rubber and bushings are shot on mine. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
Im sure there are other places try Rockauto.com The 510 parts outlet(Troy Ermish racing) http://www.racetep.com/datsunsusp.html the harder the material the more possible road noise /feeling Quote Link to comment
benzo
if the idler arm is not broken and just the bushings are worn out contact carter boad at vg30.com as they sell a delrin idler bushing kit. you can also get it from design racing products. I just got the vg30.c0m unit and will install soon. as for the rear of a wagon I recently replaced the stock rubber bushings with oem rubber units. if you need some let me know as I can get them still. I can get the rear eye leaf and front eye leaf rubber and also the rear eye leaf can work for the upper chassis mount. if you need kyb shocks I get those also email me at bull_ogna@hotmail.com for a faster response Quote Link to comment
HRH
The whole idler arm assembly is also available from rareparts.com Quote Link to comment
mike
I ended up getting the whole unit from rockauto... $22+ shipping. There may still be one left at that price. I should have included balljoints and tie rod ends just for peace of mind but Ill get to them later. Quote Link to comment
