DatDoug
These stickers are on the valve cover thats on my motor in my 73 620. The motor is an L18 which leads me to beleive this is a transplant & the motor is a Jap crate motor. Anyone no what these stickers mean? http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z229/DatDoug/VCSticker.jpg Quote Link to comment

datsunfish
Crate motor. L18 was a very common jdm motor we got shipped here. Good chance its a peanut a87. I would almost guarantee it. Quote Link to comment
HRH
We still sell ATK motors. (NAPA) About 1350 for a L20 with 300 core. Quote Link to comment

HRH
Not likely. Engine rebuilders don't make money by throwing together cool Datsun combos. :) Plus, if they build high compression stuff, there's more of an issue with warranties, which they'll also shy away from. Unless somebody went to their factory and requested an engine build. Which is possible. Quote Link to comment
