freaky510
So my hood latch is a p.o.s and i was wondering if their is a "upgrade " that can be done to help keep my damn hood to stay latched. I have lube and worked everything and have nice movement of all the mechanisms, but it just wont stay latched. It appears to be lined up right. Also is there a hood difference for goon to sedan( I don't think their is my whole front clip is off a goon). I really need to fix this before i f%&*k up my new hood thanks all FrEaKy Quote Link to comment
Jesse C.
Have you tried adjusting the latch? Does the hood go down properly or does it get hung up on the rubber stops? Most of us are just eliminating the latches and going to only hood pins. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
Freaky I assume you know this but incae you dont. Loosen that hex nut then adjust the post up and down with flahead to get it just right then tighen the Hex nut to lock it. will also assume your latch spring is working good so it catches the edge of the Post/ball.
