Picked up 2 engines ( L24 and an L26 ) , 1 1977 280z 5spd , and a 3-2-1 exhaust header system. Guy took apart engines , but cleaned , and bagged nearly all parts/bolts ( nice !) I have extra motors to work off of anyways if need to transfer. Engines were disassembled , and the L24 was cracked badly on the water jacket( 5 inch casting crack sorry already tossed that one ! no pics ! LOL ! ) (L26 great shape ( use micrometers, depth gauges to measure main bearing journals , crankshaft journals , rod bearing journals , and pistons to determine it does not need machining ! SWEET !!! and can re-use pistons too ;) So this will be cleaned religously , and re-assembled this summer with more funds ! Cylinder Bores look RRREAAAAALLLLYYYY GOOD , lightly honing , and checking ! so far so good ! ;-) Quote Link to comment
