We will be meeting Friday January 8th! I'd like to thank everyone for making the December meet who donated canned food and toys! Just remember: no good deed goes unseen in life! Now to the meet details! You know the drill! First Friday of every month! So mark your 2010 calenders! This meet will be held on 1-8-10! Our previous meets have had great turn outs and we expect the same for this one! All Old School Japanese Cars are welcome to attend! Come out and support your local Classic Japanese car scene! Bring your Classic Datsun, Toyota, Mazda, etc! Come represent your favorite make and model! No attitudes, No revving/burn-outs/racing will be tolerated! Keep it cool or you will be asked to leave and banned from future meets! This is a family oriented event and we want to keep it that way! I wonder if anyone got in trouble, I noticed that the cops swooped in on the guy with the silver/gray Datsun 620, seaching inside the truck and everything. jun Posted January 10, 2010 Report Share Posted January 10, 2010 My first time at this meet, I was really impressed by the turnout. Good to see some friends I haven't seen in a while, Ben from JNC and Hiro from RHD, along with many others I had the pleasure to meet for the first time. Everyone was cool, friendly and some great cars of course. I admit despite the healthy turnout of the vintage J-rides, the gravity of these two beauties kept pulling me in. By coincidence, I left right when the Torrance PD started doing their drive-bys. I didn't think anything of it as everyone seemed to be doing their thing and nothing wrong, hopefully there wasn't much drama. zeto, I assume you're the organizer of this event- didn't get the chance to meet you this time but I'll say hi next month. I believe everyone was on their best behavior as far as I could tell. So it just seems they were out to pick on us. This is exactly why we only have these meets once a month!
