datsunfish
I have always been able to find datsun valve train parts by nissan # through nissanparts.cc but their not showing them anymore. Theres still a ton of old stock stuff they can get but not the head parts I guess. I am building a head and since I had to shim the cam towers my .450" regrind and taller lash pads sets the wipe pattern way off. I need 190 lash pads and taller retainers to make it work but cant find the retainers anymore. I can still get the lash pads from Z therapy but have to buy a 6 cylinder spring kit to get the retainers. At 450 I dont need springs and without shims the 160 pads would work fine. Gotta be somewhere to find them...I Quote Link to comment
Dime Dave
Datsunfish, I have a 2 sets (8/set) of Nissan Comp aluminum retainers that I never used. I'll check this evening to see what lash pad range they fit. You should need the .190-.240 range, P/N 99996-M1151. I'll let you know what I have. Drop me a note at dwpatten@gsinet.net Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
did you call Motorsport teneesee? 1-888-833-3225 lets us know what the deal if they still have these. PM me even if thay have the smaller reatiner the 150 -190 its better than the stock one as long as more of the lash pad is underneath in the retainer so it dotn fall out. can alsway buy a Isky kit or the spring kit w retainers Quote Link to comment

MikeRL411
You might have your local auto parts store check the Beck Arnley World Parts catalog, or google them and check for yourself. Quote Link to comment
