Thank you for the link, but there is no torque specs given for automatics.

Still looking for the torque specs for flex plate to crank bolts, and flex plate to torque convertor bolts for a 1976 620 L20B with the 3N71B automatic.

Thank you,

Charlie

Do NOT forget the two spacers in front and behind the drive plate when mounting to the crank shaft!!!!

Drive plate (or flex plate) to crank bolt torque................. 101-116 ft. lbs.

Drive plate to torque converter........................................ 29-36 ft. lbs.

This is the FSM specs for a '78 620 L20B with 3N71B automatic. Gotta be the same.

Thank you Mike I appreciate it. I have been trying to locate those specs for a while now.

Where did you find the information if you do not mind me asking?

Ihave a 76 620 FSM and a 1980 720 FSM and was not able to locate those specs in either manual.

Factory Service Manual for the '78 truck. I also have an '84 720 handy as well... same torque specs. It's at the back of the automatic transmission section just before the Special Service Tools
