datzenmike
If it's black and about 2" square you may be referring the terminal box. If it is a remote igniter dizzy you can get it working with a GM HEI unit for about $15-$20. You will need an EI coil to go with it. The points coil will overheat. http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q251/datzenmike/Nissan%20Electrical/wiringHEI4.jpg[/img]"] Under the cap, does it look like this one?... http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q251/datzenmike/Nissan%20Electrical/EIdizzyremoteigniter.jpg[/img]"] ...or this one? http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q251/datzenmike/Nissan%20Electrical/EIdizzymatchbox.jpg[/img]"] Quote Link to comment

yello620
I have been told that you can also use a late model Nissan igniter box with your early distributor. But i have never tried that. And i have a Matchbox style that i would like to sell too. With coil and pedestal. Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
it looked like the first one so would you happen to know a part number the gm hei and what kind of coil Go to Kragen, tell them you need a HEI module for a 77 Chevy Camaro. Cost bout $15. Coil, youll need an electronic one off a Datsun that came stock with electronic ignition. It will be wider & a bit taller than a points coil. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Almost any Nissan coil from '78 on will be EI compatible. Quote Link to comment
