I bought a bag years ago of the hood snubbers. That was the cheapest way, just buying a whole bag. I am glad now that I did. The part numbers are 66820-B5000 and called by Nissan cowl grille "caps". Rubberman Posted July 25, 2009 Report Share Posted July 25, 2009 Al, I was planning on cutting pieces of heat shrink for wiring, and placing them on the end of the tips on the cowl and heating to shrink. Keep it from being metal to metal. Quick fix and clean look. Quote Link to comment
Figbuck Posted July 25, 2009 Report Share Posted July 25, 2009 Every time I go to the P'nP, I look for those little suckers. I got a big bag of them. I also look for good hood bumpers, the little plastic catch for the hood strut and the grommet it pivots in, fuse box covers, interior light lens, old style oil filler caps, neoprene windshield wiper boots, etc. A bunch of that stuff you can still get from the dealer or online but come on we are Ratsunistas, no? :D We should make a comprehensive list of little stuff that fits in your pocket and makes the $2 entry fee worth it! :fu: Quote Link to comment
