datzenmike Posted July 18, 2009 Report Share Posted July 18, 2009 Don't take it off. Check the secondary. It stuck slightly open. Use a small wooden dowel and gently push down on the secondary throttle plate. I had this 1,200 idle for months and one day I grabbed the vacuum diaphragm rod that opens the secondary and pulled on it and the secondary clicked shut and idle dropped.. fixed.
