Stock Z24 motor with KA24E head on it has a compression of 7.614

Swapping to KA24E pistons ... 8.647

Z24 with KA24DE head (Z24 pistons)... 9.261

I always thought this would be a stupid amount of work to basically build a KA motor... until I saw one and how much heavier they are. The Z24 would be much lighter and they have stronger rods too!

KA24E rod on left... Z24 rod on right.

I never thought of the weight savings Mike! It would be cool for an NA motor, the only thing that would be undesirable to me is the DE block has oil squirters, it's gotta be boosted :D
