Guest DatsuNoob
So I was thinking of using one of these just cause my brother's got one laying around, I like that it's cheap and lightweight too :D I've seen turbo Hondas using them before so they must work, probably enough for a 2.4L. What do you think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Integra-94-01-98-99-00-DC2-Half-Sized-Aluminum-Radiator_W0QQitemZ180351715595QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item180351715595&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 Quote Link to comment
motavated
Those radiators are made in china and exported and sold in Torranca Ca. I have one and they are not bad... But you can get them cheaper if bought directly. Quote Link to comment
Guest DatsuNoob
So you've ran it in the CA heat/sun and it worked fine? L20b? Should work for me here then. It rarely gets warmer than 80* here in the summer time. That was one of my main concerns. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
motavated
Ohh no. Not on my 620, but on my 4runner. 4runners with the 3.0 6 cylinder engine have tendencies of overheating and with badly designed head gaskets. There a major pain to maintain. 200,000+ miles and this 4runner is still alive! Keeps it very cool... They make different styles of radiators. Not just for Honduhhhs. Give them a call. Maybe they make a stock 620 aluminum one.... http://www.sillacooling.com/contact.htm Edited April 29, 2009 by Motavated Quote Link to comment
motavated
They look like this, see.. same one... Quote Link to comment
Lozer
i was thinking of running a straight 6 (turbo) with a mini radiator (so i can keep the engine further up and not rip up the firewall) notice the Rad location http://bringatrailer.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/1983_Audi_Ur_Quattro_Turbo_Coupe_Engine_1.jpg Quote Link to comment

Should have taken a picture Pretty slick setup I don't know what makes those small radiator so efficient on dissipating heat. Maybe someone here has a picture of that red Datsun 520, lives in Vallejo CA. Quote Link to comment
ace0073
is the jury still out or does anyone have a definitive answer? Will these adequately cool a ka turbo? hard for me to believe that such a small radiator will do the job. Quote Link to comment
