I'm 21, been into cars since I was about 15 when I got my first car (1946 CJ2A). Love the older cars, can't stand ricers, but I guess my car is a vintage ricer so I can't complain too much. Anyways, here's my car, not the most convenient daily driver but I guess I can manage. Here she is in her present condition: And a shot of the left side (engine bay has since been gutted and cleaned): Right side (not as interesting, I know): And lastly, the interior (Not as clean as it has been, but not as dirty either): And the sunset glam shots with a Steamboat Springs backdrop... Like an idiot I forgot to finish the Back to Black on the front skirt above... Specs 1972 240Z with 86,580 miles Triple Weber 40DCOE with K&N Filters Older MSA-type 3 into 2 headers Targa Exhaust Unknown Performance Cam (pulls hard from 3,500 rpm on up) Tokico Springs (lowers car >1") Turn Six Rear Sway Bar MSA Front Skirt And of course the Whale Tail Z cars are my favorite, picked this one up for $3,250 in Steamboat Springs almost 3 years ago. My new found passion is some of the Datsun trucks, mainly the 521 and the 620. I am actually going to look at a 521 tomorrow, hopefully a '74 620 sometime next week. Hooray tax returns... Mr.Woof's72z Posted March 29, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 29, 2009 Just threw on some new tires, but have been contemplating about an MSD 6AL paired with a Blaster II coil and a 280Z distributor (going electronic ignition). I have been looking into getting the Pertronix Ignitor kit as well, though we'll see. I actually just went to look at a '74 620 in the area, if everything goes smoothly I might be the new owner within the week. Quote Link to comment
