datzenmike Posted March 16, 2009 Report Share Posted March 16, 2009 The car KA has the front sump. 2 wheel drive has the rear sump and is likely best. Get the oil pick up tube as well. From 08'89-01'96 the same part number is listed for the KA24E 2wd oil pan. Not too many KA 521s around. Quote Link to comment

Icehouse Posted March 21, 2009 Report Share Posted March 21, 2009 I used a 2wd KA pan in my conversion, I have an extra one if you are interested with pickup 50 bucks shipped (want to get my money back basically :D) It does have a small whole, stupid junk yard guys, how hard is it to pull the drain plug..... Remember the 620 and 521 engine mounts are different thicknesses and the the truck and car block mounts are also different heights witch can be helpful :D Quote Link to comment
