ka24 in 521

ive got a 94 4x4 ka engine im put in in my 521 an was wondering about the oil pan an which one would work best the 4x4 pan seems to have clearence problems

The car KA has the front sump. 2 wheel drive has the rear sump and is likely best. Get the oil pick up tube as well. From 08'89-01'96 the same part number is listed for the KA24E 2wd oil pan.

 

Not too many KA 521s around.

Interesting intake... looks like you mated the Z24 intake to the KA flange.

 

Do you have pics of the engine bay?

I used a 2wd KA pan in my conversion, I have an extra one if you are interested with pickup 50 bucks shipped (want to get my money back basically :D) It does have a small whole, stupid junk yard guys, how hard is it to pull the drain plug..... Remember the 620 and 521 engine mounts are different thicknesses and the the truck and car block mounts are also different heights witch can be helpful :D

yo how bigs the hole (got a pic.) in the pan im still in need of one. That is what they want at junk yard for a pan an tube.
