Wow! I didn't know that! My question is which water pump is the best?!?!?! Some have bent metal blades and others are made of iron? Also which design is better from the iron ones??? That would be nice to know... Thanks!

I regret the l20 swap really. probably would cost the same for a KAde swap. I hope my engine last a while. I don't want to waste money on a new engine soon. That would suck bad...
We are beginners I guess in the Datsun game. So this l20 swap was something big! LOL!
I had an l18 too in my truck. You can feel the difference! But 1k extra for a port and polish... They are crazy really. I can rebuild and swap a ka for that price.
Sigh... Next time I guess...

I was going to say that but I didn't want to jinks it. If the compression is even, just drive it man. Well not till a cop pulls you over do you have to worry I think. Use that thick syrup addictive and that smoke will probably leave. My bro's 240 was smoking badly!!! But it still took down Hondas with eze! Would not pass smog though...
Really just add that syrup and drive it. Its a hassle when shit doesn't go our way. I just want to drive it. :p

The after market gauge is placed under the thermostat and will read at 180 deg since I have a 180 thermostat. But until the thermostat opens, the stock datsun gauge will stay silent and read COLD, right? If the after market gauge starts reading 190 or higher, and my stock one still reads zero or cold. My thermostat is probably dead and I have to pull over quickly... I want to see at all times how hot is my engine in degrees. The stock one just says hot or cold. Get my point?

How much would you charge me for a valve adjustment and comp test? I think 1 piston is off.... Tell me pweeeez~! :(

Thanks man! I am going to take the truck to Mark in a couple of weeks. "PCD" Over there in San Diego for a shock tower mod. Trading my old wheels for the mod! Its to damn bouncy. I need an extra inch or so of shock travel if you know what I am saying.
I love my truck, but she still needs work. Stopping her right now till I work things out... Thanks! :)

Cant you just buy a donor vehicle with a ka24e and just cut off all the sensors and weld them on your trucks A engine with that KA computer? Just asking if it could be done. Why buy an expensive computer and aftermarket parts if the KA24e has a simple wiring set up. Why not use the KA? If i could weld aluminum and metal. I would do that... Buy a junk engine and swap all the sensors to an L series engine...
