Well the alt checked out bad. I went back to the mom and pop store and they told me the place that rebuilt it went out of business. But that they will still do it? Sounds fishy... I will send it to be checked again at the autozone when I get it back to be sure...

Around 10:15pm on the 91 fwy toward riverside California. I saw a Datsun 620 in avocado green with a slider rear window and a rat hanging from the back. I was so upset that my own 620 was out of commission with electrical problems. Instead I was driving a burgundy Tundra with mother. I really want to compare my truck with another truck so I flashed my high beams a couple of times to get him or her angry. He or she didn't budge or floored the pedal or nothing... I just got off my exit and moved on. It also had a tv/cd combo in the dash. That was pretty sweet! I wish I had my truck at that time so I could race him or her... I was rather surprised he or she remained so cool. I really wanted to hear that engine roar!

Good idea man. But I am seriously thinking its the fan belt now. The belt seems to be to big and is hitting the idler arm or some shit or the pitman... It was only 7 buxs for a belt one size smaller. Plus I have to take the alt off for checking anyways... Might as well be on the safe side and do it. Will post what i find tomorrow. Gotta go and work soon... Thanks!
