The upper control arms are custom built by a guy named beebani. He is on here and can probably build you something nice. The lower ones are stock 1979 620 control arms ball joint. Thanks. I am now driving the truck every day everywhere. It is a learning experience and just like everyone else. You learn alot from your first cars. If I were to have money and have another 620. I would do things a little different. He he he!

Called vato zone and say 1975 620. And modify your rad support so it fits... You have the smaller rad. Autozone don't carry the older smaller model. Modifying the support is rather minimal for the bigger rad. Your old fan shrow wont work.

But see salt water realllly fucks with aluminum....

What I also wonder if used engine importers are going to try and sell water damaged engines?

My truck had no brakes. The PO didnt want to sell me truck because he could not figure it out. Well when I drove it around it stopped ok... It had not much power and it smelled like shit. So Its weak, it smells like shit and it sorta stops. I check the compression and piston #2 was dead. So I take off the head and the head was cracked in half and badly repaired by a machine shop before. The reason it smelled like shit is the PO used 3 cans of head gasket repair. And it clogged the rad the water pump and the heater core. So I get a new head and repair the cooling system. Turn the fucken on and it felt STRONG! So off I go and take it around the block. And I just hauled so much ass! I fucken punched it as I pulled into the drive way. Pressed the brake pedal... NO BRAKES! knocked over the neighbors fence to stop it. Fucked my truck... DERP!

They are cool and I wore mine already. Its all ready in the hamper. I recommend!

The alt bracket made a huge difference. I have lots of room now. I also fixed the hood and added the new hinges micromachinery sold me. Thanks dude!

Mine looks like this.... Looking at this picture. I think I have my bracket upside down... I AM SO STUPID! Problem solved!

BUmp! Still looking for a good hood.

My hood flew open and I fucked shit up. I have everything now but a straight hood. Also how do you install this? I must have the wrong alt bracket. I got this one from the yard... That is why the alt hits on my truck. But how do you bolt the alt on this?

Can anyone guess what these are for? Its an aftermarket mod for a 620...

I got this idea from a 620 in the yard. The previous owner must of done this mod when his wipers broke. But what part did he use? Lucky there was a 510 4 door in the yard. The parts were the same! So now with my research I pass the info down to you to keep your 620's/Datsun's running and alive... REUSE REDUCE RECYCLE!

The 620 wiper arm assembly has plastic parts that get fragile with time. It sucks when they get brittle and break. You go to the junkyard and the junk yard parts are also worn down. WHAT CAN YOU DO? No new parts?! This is the solution! Datsun 510 parts! These are from a 1970 Datsun 510 and are made out of pot metal. But do they fit? NO! They are shorter. So what is it needed to be used on a 620? A spacer! SEE! It fits! Any questions?

I hear that stupid whine? Its the stupid belt or some shit. Take off the belt and run it for a few and It will go away... Its the alt or something...

I recycle and reuse. I have owned both my cars for over 7 years. There was a thread going around about how many cars did you own and some people had over 20+ cars in a short period of time. It really does make me think...

what i did I placed the hood back on latched and I am driving it around. The hood is sorta like a v. You cant see it well since the cowl is blocking were its bent. LOL!

has anyone seen a 620 in the junkyards in so cal?
