yeah i've been searching a lot, my 210 head has been machined i dont know how much but its machined very close to the number 210, my block is bored .30 so im not sure what would be a good option for it.
-
thanks a lot guys
-
so it would be better to just a find a used head in good condition right?
-
i would hit a junkyard, problem is that there are no more datsuns here in el paso tx. I have a 210 head which i've heard they suck and i would like a little more horsepower
-
is this a good deal?
if so, where could i get the rest of the parts?
-
You need some?
Happy to provide, for a price, MUHAHAHAHA.
No really I have some just gotta find the keys.
dont need them, i have no door handles either, hahaha everything is shaved.
-
Or carry the coil wire in your pocket
^ i do that every time since anyone can open my truck with their finger throught the key hole (i have no key cylinder)

ddrum I'm thinking of going to yellow high beams. I like the color of yours, did you do that to them (paint or whatever) or buy those?
Thanks, well they were painted by the previous owner. I say get the yellow high beams! by the way your truck looks clean

sorry for the random question, but can people fit inside the king "cab"?
-
this is my daily driver "Cookie Monster", my plates were expired since june, :/ and dps wants to charge me 600$ for new ones, fuck that. any ways its a rebuilt L16 5 speed (27 mpg) weber carb. i drive around 50 miles a day.

My oil light came on 2 days ago and wont seem to turn off....
I just put a weber on a week ago and was floored by the improved response of my l16, i actually got it to burn out
Any ways, I did my oil about a month ago and cant seem think of why my dummy light came on, hopefully its nothing internal. I was just wondering if it is possible my sensor is bad/missleading, has this ever happened to anyone here, and come to find out their sensor took a shit?
I have a freshly rebuilt L16 with a 5 speed and i cant get it to burn out. Mine just bogs down when try to burn out and it bounces like crazy.
-
how do you guys fit in there?
-
Thanks Datzenmike, i'll be checking tomorrow.

ok so i bought this 1972 datsun 620 and it has an L16, it came with a 5 speed tranny and ive been observing it and it has a 8 L on the side of the tranny, I dont know what this means but i have been trying to find out what it came off of but i cant find anything. Is there a code number on it somewhere? if so where should i look? oh by the way, my truck has two driveshafts is that what they ussually came with?
sorry for asking noob questions, just trying to learn. Anyways thanks, Erick

Thanks i found out what it is, it's a DGAV
-
You have it narrowed down to a 32/36(26/27 venturies) dgv already. Does it have a manual choke(DGAV) or electric/water choke(DGEV)?
it says dgav isn't it a water choke?
-
Look along the base... should say there.
Post pics
thanks i found it its a dgav 33b1

i will post pictures but its night time already
