string hanging out, so i just grabbed some pliers and pulled it down and back up

and hood popped :D YEAH!!!

So today i finally got my 620 back from the shop. Why? Because it got an

overhaul. :D I've been mad happy all day driving it around, but then the battery went dead. So i got my bro's Dodge Ram to pass charge to my 620 and as i was about to open the hood i guess i pulled

the clable too hard and it broke :angry: . So now i cant open my hood. Is there any other way i can open my hood? without tearing anything apart or am i screwed?

Back in January i bought my first Datsun and my brothers picked it up from Dallas Texas (i live in El Paso). On the way back they got into quite some trouble and busted my radiator and fan. I've been trying to look for a fan blade and i found one for a roadster, but im not sure if it will fit or which fans would work on my 620. if anyone knows what kind of fan will fit, can you please let me know? I'm trying to look for a mechanical fan not an electrical one.

Yeah, I have seen a lot of lowered Datsun's and mine is lowered only 2 inches, but i like the stock height look better. Also down here where i live the roads are a mess so i need to make it higher.

i need to buy the exhaust valve guides for my 1972 datsun 620 with an L16, if anyone has them or knows where i can get them please email me at
