  1. Dont sell it, you should give it to me!!! I'll even pay to ship it to Alabama. It's much nicer than my goon. I too have a space problem. I recently got married and moved to the wife's house. As soon as my old house sell's, I dont know what I'll do with my wagon. i'm not even considering selling mine! With this economy, it looks like I have plenty of time to find room. hahaha sob, sob sob....
  2. So ZX strut will lower by 2" without mods? Do you know the part #'s for the early and late struts/ i have aset that I took off a ZX, but dont know the year and the car has long since been crushed. also, I recall somewhere that the ZX struts decrease the track by about 1" and the 200SX V6 struts increase track by 1"... true? Any info on the camber difference on the 200sx struts? I have a set of them as well.
  3. Sa-Weet!!! Now ya gotta change your signature pic. Thanks for the visual. I will definatly use it when selecting wheels for my wagon. Looks like I am going to need something in a +0 or maybe -10. I'm wanting to fill flares. If I do flares now. That looks mighty nice without them!!! I'm going to find a moist towel now....
  4. [i guess this one would be ok to buy if you JUST cant find anyting nicer... :D
  5. Went to the local annual import car show, met some new friends and scored a free engine for the wagon.
  6. Good bit more to it than that. You are going to have to find some way to control fuel under boost. I tink the biggest problem is going to be adding boost to that high compression SSS motor. High compression + boost + not perfect fuel delivery = BOOM!!! I would REALLY consider fuel injection and a low compression motor before adding boost of ANY kind. If you want to keep the carbed L, then I would spray it, if you want more HP.
  7. I'm in Alabama and it took me about 6 months to find mine. I actually had no hope of finding a 510 wagon and was looking for a 710 wagon. I lucked across mine over in Georgia and bought it over the phone without ever seeing it. I'm 39 and it is only the fourth or fifth 510 that I have ever seen. They are pretty rare here in the south... Most of the parts that I have ever bought came out of Oregon or Washington. Either, most of the 510's are there, or they have alot of hoarders in those two states.. haha

Where's the pics of a young Brook Shields draped across the hood???
  9. You try to jack my Goon and you gonna catch a cap from my 9 foo !!! haha Guess I gotta bad rap now... Like said before, crossmember, lower control arms and the rear pumpkin.
  10. Haha, will do... Er uh not do.... I was told when I got the car that tey were rare. But in my initial searches for parts, I saw alot of them for sale, so I knew they couldn't be THAT rare. In my current searches, sometimes a see a few and sometimes I see none.... Not interested in selling them. Not worth the effort. Anyone that want them can come and get them... They mean nothing to me. hell, I dont even know where they are... Maybe someone DID come and get them...
  11. They're badly faded and are repro's. They needed alot of work to fit. TRUST ME!!! You dont want them. And yes that is the original working locking gas cap with key! Got several Elepant Oil caps with it too. No engine when I got it, but three oil caps. hahaha
  12. Cool! I didn't even know. I bought them on ebay a few years ago. when I got her, there were none... They are very faded, but I had to have something... Looking for replacements now...
  13. Not much, but it's a start.
  14. Well, I finally went over to my old house (recently married) where my 510 is stored for the time being. I took a few pics to show where I am starting from. When a got the car a few years ago. It had no engine, front fenders, grill, headlights, or valance. The only thing on the front end was a hood and front suspension. I assembled the front end parts and rebuilt all of the brakes and precured an engine and tranny and got here running. I also rebuilt the fuse box, wiper system and all of the guts of the dash. Next was cutting out all the rust and welding in patch panels to the fronts of the frame. Soon after the radiator split and I upgraded to a VW scirocco radiator. Then the rear end started howling (yes it had fluid) and I parked it for a couple of years... In the mean time, I got divorced (yay!) moved and got married again (yay!) The new wife embraces the Datsun where as the first one hated it! Althought she does look on with doubt when I say that it is worth more than she would think... :D Anyway, on to the pics... The jug in teh engine bay is for gas while we were tinkering the other day. It is empty!!! For some reaason, it wont pull fuel from the tank anymore... Newly lined tank and the fuel system has not been opened for dirt dobbers to clog it. Dunno. We'll drop the tank and see. Cant blow air trough it with compressor from the front...
  15. I would be very interested in some real stamped metal repro's, but not interested at all in chromed plastic unless they make a whole set of the entire front end. Grill too! I'm very picky about stuff matching. Sorry to be unsupportive, but just being honest.
