I believe it's so they can include cars like 93-94 Rx7s and NSXs and Nissan Stagea wagons and Pao vehicles ,, which by all criteria except age,, are pretty damn badass classic car designs.. And to do that you have to include cars up to that that point in a separate class all grouped together themselves.. Neo-classics i think it was called We went last year and having those newer vehicles there also,, seemed to me, to only make the show even more epic to be honest...

I spent my money for going on Datsuns after i finally i gave up on them,, ( because we gotta camp Saturday in Birch Bay) and Scalpum's truck aint on the road yet... , FAT510 and Juan-ear still wanted to go but they didn't wanna go with each other.......... So there's that. Save the date for next year man,,, we will easily be sitting at 5 coming from Tumwater.. it's a great show and i'm sad we are missing it . . .

There is a pretty big car show nearby on Saturday called Unique Tin Car Show and Cruise in Longview,, a bunch of guys go to that on Saturday, and then go camp out,, and drink beer at the racetrack ,, then drag race on Sunday. FWIW i have seen them let newer cars challenge the vintage autos ,, as most of us are driving vehicles built before 79 could probably get on track if you asked.. and paid an extra $30. of course

Headed to scrap the other day, ( this is about 1/4 mile away) , couldn't get any parts cuz he wanted to dump it right then and i was headed to pediatrician,, still had Z22,, short tranny and the 4x4 rear leaf springs .. The dude said this was either the 3rd or 4th he had scrapped in a month or so... I gave him my number and told him what the parts he was scrapping were worth if he just waited 4 hours,,,,, nope. Guy probably got $30. bucks for it. :geek: :lol:
