  1. Bought a 82 dump bed 720 from an old friend and it was a total pile of rusted crap BUT i had a 1980 i got in a multi diesel truck buy,  i got from one of my neighbors , that Chris "the renter" knew,, that had gotten to old , and was finally letting go of some of his land , and they were on property that he was selling..  It was an 1980 so as anyone that has had a 1980 ,, the hood does not lend itself to being parked for any length of time ,, and as usually happens,  engine is solid .

The 82 came without engine , and was going to install a low mileage 83 22e i got in a 220sx but Chris "the renter"  found a 83 720 in a field that was free,  and engine was pretty good so used that..  Dump originally was a 5 speeder but switched it to an automatic to make easier for hired help to drive.

The 1980 was so much nicer i switched cabs ,, somehow all three trucks are titled so getting rid of extra parts should be real easy .

Put a new master on it but haven't gotten rear wheel adapters off the switch out wheel cylinders so might have to cut off and use 12" wide wheels i have ,,

here's a couple pics of progress so far

I have had this thing since about July(?) but Juan-ear had to get his 59 1000 done,  and it has had it's engine out more in a month than a drift car.

By the looks of front camber even after motor tranny was installed .. I think the torsion bars seem to be cranked all the way up

@sami_i_am   sorry for thread jack but this is only thread i could find

    @wayno
I am currently trying to get a pair of these off and i am having a hell of a time. Since bolts are very tight and been on there so long the rust has a death grip on them and wondering where to heat if it comes to that.

each adapter has at least 2 bolts that wont budge.

    Anyway.

    My question is this.

What is holding that onto the inside wheel ?? Meaning , the bolts that are on outside are very short..

Do you have pics of inside stud/lugs without that unit installed??

  3. @Rustbuster78 cuz i forgot to quote

I most likely have a few L20b intakes, not sure if W58 .   i think there's one i step over in front of the garage even that i could give you , if you paid for shipping. .  Is yours the type that is bolted to the exhaust?

i do have an intake still bolted to an engine in front yard right now, headed to scrapper.   i am cab switching a 80 with locked up engine ( because stupid hood holes letting all the rain in) , so that would definably be on a W58 head.

I have a probably 10 of the older non-emissions type also, but they are quite a bit smaller diameter runners, so no-one i know uses them . They do clean up the engine if you're not worried about it though .. one of those wouldn't be free

I'm on PC and notice you are in Wisconsin?  on phone it doesn't show that, so i assumed you were westcoast when i first replied  ..

Having said all that ,,,  I truly suck at shipping.

     Like horrifyingly bad

And these are the ones that believe the Hatiens are going to eat all of their cats and dogs? This has become insanity on both sides. How can anyone take Trump seriously after this last performance? You believe the Hatiens are after your pets? Dudes off in Bidenville. I am somehow hoping he gets dumped and We have an actual sane person on the ticket in Nov. And no I don't belive the asylum seekers or whatever you want to call them belong in the country and certainly shouldn't be receiving our tax money for support.

i believe there are no sane people in DC ..

If they would have gotten Ramaswamy ( had to google that )  in there,  this really would have been a no brainer.. Kid is a nut-bag , but he would have left her standing there with her chonies around her ankles wondering what the hell just drove over her.

Dude is quick ,, smart,, and above all mean

A two door sedan? Be still my beating heart.

Coupes have the classic shape but this is the one I’d take home. All the best with it.

hate to say , but bought for interior and windows assuming I am stripping for parts stash .
Might give it a go as a hoopty if engine runs  enough to invest the $200. In brakes to drive around .

I’m not positive but I don’t think USA even got the 4 door sedan ?

  7. i have to return the steering wheel and license plates for his other Datsuns.

carbs move easily with pedal , but most likely getting rid of them cuz i hate tuning them if worn out.
