  1. Yeah ,rubber wears out.Put a bolt in the stopper hole, also can put a nut on it.Believe me I been using this bolt for over 20 years.Nissan went brain dead on this, how many times do you push the brake and clutch pedal in and out

The rubber wears out.The bolt will out live both of us and everyone  has one in there bucket can.As you seen it in the picture ,plastic is gone and guy said ,where this come from. The switch  will stop at the bolt. Cant come out.Use stainless steel.Try it and see.You can go 4x4ing and bolt won't come out, don't need a nut on the end.

  2. I believe in the picture where it says pedal bracket to the right is where the swich goes and behind that I'd the bracket that holds it.In this picture, looks as the stopper is gone. Look under switch, stopper gone, plastic was dumb on Nissan's part. These pics here are from Ebay, someone selling this.

  3. Hi,back in December 2,2023,I posted on here when I changed my brake light switch.I have done it long ago too.I did take one picture. It is the switch with a nut that is needed to adjust the length of the switch to work. When you buy the switch it only comes with one nut.The other nut is a lock nut.The switch goes in a hole with the nut on one side and lock nut on the other. The plastic stopper on mine dry rotted long ago.So I just put a bolt in the hole as a stopper and it works perfect.I pushed the brake pedal in with my hand and wedged a 2x4 in there to hold brake pedal in to remove and replace the switch. The clutch switch uses the same switch.I have replaced that one also and use a bolt there as a stopper.Get switch from Auto Zone, life time warranty. So save your nut off the old switch. Here is a picture of my switch and my saved nut. Also pictures from my Haynes manual. The picture showing the 2 nuts  there's a plate with a hole that switch goes in.

  4. The second letter refers to whether it is a right-handed or left-handed carb - they're mirror images of each other. G is the right handed variant, F is for left. A DF carb has it's throttle rotating clockwise where the DG rotates counter-clockwise and the primary/secondary barrel position is of course reversed (since they are mirror

  6. 13268-D010C and 13268-29N0A . I bought some new ones not long ago from Nissan. I use hex head bolts, got rid of the phillip head ones.Torq. them to 2.2 lbs.The part numbers have changed.I bought mine from a Nissan Dealer overseas, way cheaper.I have a extra set in case I ever need some. These are the new numbers.Take one of your bolts to Tractor Supply Company and get new hex head ones. They charged by the pound, way cheaper than anyone else.

  7. You can go on Ebay ,it is showing a 86 passenger side fender for sale, looks original. It has no hole and antenna. If you were to get another fender get a used oem.one.The after market ones don't line up with hood, door and bumper.I had one put on from body shop. They didn't not want to mess with after market parts.I also bought some front bumper ends and they don't match up with my bumper. My back new lights look good but the passenger side hole on the truck had to be enlarged to fit.No holes are in the after market passenger side front fenders.Buy oem.

  8. Here is my antenna.I just had a new Kenwood put in it,also had new antenna cable installed too.The antenna was this way when I bought it in 94.Guy worked at Radio shack, that I bought truck from..All electronis were radio shack, including alarm system.Had Optumus cassette player in it.,and speakers.I think people back then were putting alarm systems in  them.It didn't have a passenger side mirror.Guess they were options.I bought one from Nissan in 95 and put it on.

  9. My round inner Nissan boot is small to fit my opening to keep heat out.I have a brand new round boot. This is what I used to seal it with.I always thought they all had square boots. Now I know.I noticed on a lot of 720's including mine, that they will leak at the bottom boot and cause the heat to eat away the black paint on the shifter. It did mine and I sanded it and painted it.No heat comes thru now.

  10. I got mine off of Ebay. You can take off the piece that it goes into, under there, there is a place where you can line up the boot and use clips to hold it in.I used my old clips that were on my rubber pieces where the glass comes out the door.I bought new rubber pieces years ago.It is leather.
