  1. yea it goes spring - rubber valve- then screw. yea its the residual valve for the front discs, I know I can just run no residual valve but if it can go in why not. my only hesitancy is that I don't want it to be flopping around in there and there's no way for me to check if its firmly in place when the crew is put on.
  2. hey so I took the residual valve off my master cylinder and its a bit bigger than the one I took off the 83 720 for the front brake conversion will it still function?
  3. hey so I took the residual valve off my master cylinder and its a bit bigger than the one I took off the 83 720 for the front brake conversion will it still function?
  4. hey replacing the races and bearing in my front hubs and was on rock auto and seen there are front outer seals. I know the inner one I took it out but there was no outer seal, is there supposed to be one? I don't see it on the carpartsmanual site either, just wondering why there is one listed on rock auto. thanks
  5. yea I have a previous post on the plugs with pictured that's the reason im rebuilding it I haven't put it back in yet to tune it and do all that stuff just curious on what the different size needle and seat do
  6. appreciate the info, do y'all know anything about the size needle and seat?
  7. with everything out it still had the gap in the throttle plate, ill look into the a/f guages
  8. rebuilding my weber 32/36 Dgav the primary throttle plate has gaps (see picture) im think inking of replacing it. are these gaps going to affect the way the carb runs. secondly jet sizes I got 135 primary main jet, 160 primary air corrector, and 60 primary idle jet. then 140 secondary main jets, 170 primary air, and 50 primary idle. then what got be asking questions was the rebuild kit came with a 200 needle and seat but the one that was in my weber was 250 and I got to reading and some said the 250 make it run real rich and should be used for higher power applications. the car was running real rich so any info on all this would be greatly appreciated.
  9. hey just wanted to see what ya'll think a good front outer bearing brand is. I took out ntn bearing and going between nsk and ntn. rock auto has nsk bearing, or do you guys think timken, skf, or national has better bearing? appreciate ya'll
  10. got it guys just had to adjust the cable
  11. the parking brake lever pin? its on right, washer and clip are facing out
  12. so i'm redoing my rear drums and on the driver side rear parking break is to forward and not allowing the shoes to come in enough for the drum to fit over. whats going on?
  13. was planning on going to electronic ignition but can't find any available to do the conversion, I see there are 2 points options Dual contact and Single contact. Whats the difference? also any tips on keeping a points ignition happy would be appreciated, wear, service, when to replace, does it advance timing only when points wear out? Thanks y'all
