  1. Thanks for posting that. Glad to hear someone else saw a nice difference. As long as it has decent midrange power I'm not TOO worried. I don't mind dropping a gear and taking off. True story. Never worked on or owned side drafts (other then motorcycle) Skib, I'm sure you've worked on Weber DCOE's before... are there functioning chokes? That's really my only concern.

datsun only recommended 20w50 down to 20 degrees

      mix 20w50 and 10w40 to get 15w45?

btw, its not the 50 parts, its the 20, just too thick when cold.

There's a nice old man around here that has a stack of Mikuni's that he's been talking about selling. Wonder if he'd part the stack
  5. ZOMG LOGIC Considered it seriously, but I don't really have the money at the moment. Unless I sell off what's currently in my PM's :ninja:
  6. Okay, so I've had someone approach me on another forum that's offered to sell me a Canon side draft single carb manifold (I'm assuming for the Weber/Mikuni's) and I'm just purely curious because I've seen the setup before, but is there any real upgrade with a Weber 40 over the 32/36? I know there's a pretty reasonable drop in fuel efficiency, but my commute is so short I probably wouldn't notice. I guess what i really want to know is, would it be worth the cost of a single side draft and are there any real big down sides to a single side draft?
  7. Tristin, those would look right at home on your car. Just sayin'
  8. Yessir! Sorry, didn't notice I had a reply until just now.
  9. Nice man!! IMO drop it 1 inch all the way around, and call it a day. Looks great either way!
  10. But you have a bed :poke:
  11. HOLY CRAP i has no idea. Damn, and I thought I got a good one too :(
  12. On a more relevant note... don't think I posted this yet.
  13. Just sheer curiosity is the only reason I asked :P Glad you didn't get emotional like up there ^^^^^^^^^^
  14. Wellllll just saying, most center exit exhausts don't get in the way of using a truck functionally soooooo... I'm assuming you must be referring to tailgate clearance?
  15. How is center exit exhaust on a truck rice? :poke: IN4MORE
  16. Turned out pretty good! I actually really like this shade of yellow. I feel like the tailgate needs an epic rising sun.
  17. It's a great feeling making something old kinda new again, and then getting to enjoy the fruits of your labor. I spent a good bit of time working on my truck before I drove it. Hell, before I even owned it. I had my 210 for a year before I ever drove it.
  18. ^^Paint overspray inside of the fender well? ^^And are those stock master cylinder tanks? I've never seen any like that on any Datsun.
  19. Keep the Weds. I really like how they look with your car.
  20. Not trying to shit on your price, but I picked up a set from the same year at a yard for $100 :poke: And they were damn near perfect. With that said, they were some of the best seats I've ever sat in with the 3 way lumbar support.
