@]2eDeYe  might know. He's been known to play with this stuff on trucks.

From the service manual. I assume it is in order of operation.

I do know when you lower these trucks the upper control arm get's really short in it's arc of movement and the lower gets longer.
This changes the camber and amplifies it's range through the suspension travel, this is why drop spindles are desirable.

The 620 has spacers between the upper arm mount that can be removed, although these days I would just move the spacer to the outside of the control arm instead of tossing them.
This doesn't really help the range difference much during travel though, just gets you back close to stock 1 deg camber.

I cut the patches first, then scribe them onto the body panel.

    Isn't metal replacement fun???

I used tape, you can actually see them stuck to the tailgate...

Once I shape the replacement piece I do scribe the edge and fine tune the fitment... I always seem to cut the hole too big,  so this way has worked for me so far..

    And no it sucks...

You ever read a thing after you've done a thing? Next patch gets done this way lol.

Banging metal is pretty fun, but it isn't easy.

A friend of mine told me he buys name brand tires off Amazon. I haven't yet checked the viability of that solution, but it sounds like he's saving tons.

I do this. I picked up a used tire machine from the local used tire place and an old school bubble balancer.
There was one 35" for the Jeep that UPS lost but they covered it. Not sure how you loose one one of those?

Nice work on the 521 so far Crash. 🙂

The driveshaft flange flange/yoke on the H233 is much larger than the H190. The WD21 with H233 uses a Spicer 1310 U-joint. I'm not concerned with trying to match any junkyard parts for the driveshaft, as I will be running a custom shaft. There may be a bastard joint out there that you could adapt a 620 shaft to a H233 yoke, just know that you may be shifting the "fusible link" in the driveline to the driveshaft.

You can buy a brand new yoke for a 280Z with the T5 and get a 1310 yoke for the transmission.
Then you would just need the rest of the donor shaft.

Arlington Pick and Pull has a 1980 720 right now.  Maybe you can snag some wiring out of it.  Still has the 5 speed too!

I looked up the price on transmissions there after you mentioned the Z in Lynwood, wholly crap lol.

I wasn't able to find it when I was doing the change on my truck so I ended up using a valvoline 80w-90 hybrid that seems to be holding up okay.

Finding any local is a pain. I order from amazon and keep a couple jugs in stock.
