datsun thought it as a needed upgrade as older potential buyers wanted a spare option that was easy for them... they wanted to be able to roll the spare out of the bed if they needed to fix a flat rather than have to bend over to get the one from out under the bed..... it was marketed towards the older market segment...

i disagree mike ... painted factory paint.... mounted with factory bolts...... built for a factory spare..... if its not from datsun its from a datsun dealer....

so Steering wheels ... one small... one bigger.... no horn button but you can get those at mooneys website... bigger one in good shape... its a grant... smaller one in not as good of shape a little beat up and brand unknown....
