how do you convert your harness for a h3 bulb?

  8. It has potential! I cant wait to see you fix this baby up! With the legacy behind it I hope you keep it forever and your kids and grandkids will have something to rock to prom. :)
  9. I never knew you had a 720
  10. Ya thats correct I just used HLG as an example. And yes earlier model datsun pickups are also little hustlers.
  11. As I see it "lil hustler" is the proper term for the truck. you know theres chevy blazer, and dodge neon. Well datsun lil hustler is really the proper u.s term. But as you may know in japan they label there cars a little different and usually the name is shown in the vin number I.E eg-6(honda civic hatch), AE86(86 toyota corolla), FD (rx7). Well datsun little hustlers are HLG620. You will never see a lil hustler labeled 620 in japan because that was a u.s market only thing. So basically datsuns are not normal in this aspect. Kinda like how we call 510's 510's instead of bluebirds.
  12. Ill get some tomorrow in the daylight
  13. So I know a guy with a detail shop who lets me stop in from time to time and detail my truck. Well today I decided to do some hardcore engine bay cleaning on the 620. I placed bags n towels over the distributor, carb, etc. Well I got it really clean but guess what I got water in the distributor some how and It wouldnt start up. Well i just figured we could let it air dry but home boy put the cap back on and tried to start it for a minute. Well he totally flooded the engine by holding it wide open forever and well long story short I was stranded without a truck for 6 hours while i waited for it to "de-flood" (it was THAT flooded!) sorry for the rant I just felt like an idiot today and figured I had to tell someone. Do you have any stupid datsun related things you have done?
  14. Thanks, do you think I should just get everything on my list?
  15. Ok so check it. My 620 has horrible allignment I mean horrible. Also one of my tie rods has been grounded out and its like half-there in one spot and looks like it wants to snap. I want my truck to drive straight and be safe and so I have decided its probably a good idea to start investing in the steering and suspension. I know very little about all this front end stuff. I need to know where I should start and whats MOST important because I dont have ALOT of money. Should i replace all the things I list below? If not whats most important and where should I start? Ball joints upper and lower both sides? tie rod assebly for both sides? (do the tie rod assemblys at say autozone include the ends as well?) tie rod ends? lower control arm bushings left and right lower? Strut Rod Bushing Kit? Did I miss anything important?
  16. You could lift it out with just about anything they are not that heavy, you could throw a rope over a tree and pull it out with 3 people no problem
