You get first dibs but if you don't want it anyone else want it let me know. No one makes it anymore and it bolts right to your factory steering column. 140.00 picked up pr 140 plus shipping let me know. Im all AIM in my truck now so I don't need it and I would love to see it mounted in some ones truck.I have also a Boost and NOS gauge as well. Phantom white face.

I don’t think I need anymore gauges but what kind of heater are we talking about? Aftermarket?

Factory heater, in really good shape. Also the bracket bolts under your steering column so you can move your gauges there and mount the stereo in the hole on dash. You cannot get this piece anymore. If you want them let me know.

Hey all, just wondering if anyone is running a quick release steering wheel adapter? If so any help with a part number and any modification required? I’m already running an aftermarket grant wheel. Thanks!

So finally got the radiator made from CBR Performance, Baja 1000 is up se he was slammed, anyway still need to make mounts for it so, my idea will be is to mount doom between the grill and radiator support to keep it clean. I think it will look good, will have to wait and see. Just some photos of it sitting there spaced were I think it should sit.

I have another crazy idea I got from a friend TSR so I might try his idea. Stay Tuned, final pieces are moving so slow. lol

All of the big block Chevy trucks I've ever owned were great on top too. The best is the '96-'99 7.4L Vortec. Those motors spin to 6k and make power up top as well as torque down low.

Ray, I think I'd rather have a 396 than a 502. The bigger you go, the less they feel like usable daily drivers. Ok, I'd rather have a 427, but they never put those in trucks.

Years ago, there was an article in some engine builder magazine, where they tested "blueprinted" V8s from the '60s and '70s to see what kind of hp they really made, because most of the "published" numbers were low for insurance purposes. The big block Chevy 427 made over 500hp stock. The 427 Ford made over 600hp. I can't remember what the 426 Hemi made, but it was the most powerful of the bunch. I think I still have that magazine somewhere...

Sounds about right except the Ford.lol

I agree, with the big blocks, I guess how much your going to drive it and for what, although it will be reliable just loud messy and heavy but fun. I guy once said I like the way old things look and the way new things work. So technology is a huge plus, if your just making a cool driver hauler truck sky is the limit, if your looking for sleeper in a sense and comfortable long hauls then go with the new stuff.

Yeah the problem with that  1993 is so much done to it (that the seller paid to have done) that I am afraid that if I tried to undo it and swap it to something else it will turn into a headache.   Its got a Holley sniper efi and not even sure I want efi so having to undo all that for a traditional carb I could have a bad time.

I am looking at this 69 with a 454 in it but only has 250HP...which is a snoozer if you ask me.  Dealership doesn't know what the engine came out of and not sure how they would even know it has 250HP without knowing what it came out of but who the fuck knows.  Chevy didn't introduce the 454 until 1970 so a mystery.

Sounds more like a miss then a cam lope.

  9. Big block is awesome but, big fuel sippers and for the amount of money your going to throw at it the LSX454 is the way to go. Also if you LS it you should at least do an LS3 with a 4L80 transmission. Me personally I would go with A Tremec T56 6 speed and really have some fun. Plus the manual gear box will take a lot more punishment.

The early 90's big block late 80's had a dual rear main seal and they all leak. HP was 235-255HP and 385-405 LBs TRQ if you had a good carb and true dual pipes to make her breath. Again for the money in this age go LS. Or get a 502 big block, punched out 454 that will give you 500 plus HP.

I want to do a 73-75 step side square body clean but with a Nelson racing twin turbo 427. 1200 HP on 91 octane all day. Complete and ready to install for about 37-42K I believe.
