There may be air being drawn in at the point where the glass bowl meets the housing. Try replacing the gasket with Tisco Gasket & Screen Kit, 70245941 9http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/screen-amp%3B-gasket-kit-allis-chalmers-case-john-deere)

Daniel,
What color LED bulb did you use?
Also, one of my bulb sockets broke. Do you know if replacements are available?

Does anyone have the Sylvania or GE bulb number for the 520/521 instrument panel bulbs?
The parts manual lists the Nissan number as 26261-30100 (five required at 1.5 watt) and 26261-58000 or 26261-10600 or 26713-89900 (four required at 3.0 watt).
There is a great write-up on replacing with LEDs, however I prefer to keep the vehicle stock.
Thanks,
Keith

It is unfortunate how the drip channels on the Patrols seem to collect moisture and rot the roof panel. Perhaps Patrols should always be parked at a severe incline and a small drip hole should be installed at a corner.

Charlie69,
If there are at least four in Arizona, then you have double to population of Texas.

Possible changes (to be illustrated with photos at a later time)
Fuse box changes from 6 lug to 10 lug
Battery tray gains side angle supporting braces
Passenfer inner fender gains tab for battery mount
Driver inner fender drilled for waster bag
Sunvisors changed from pressed perimeter edge trim to heat sealed edge.

The threaded hole in my 1966 520, J13 block is 1/4"x18 fine thread.
I just measured 25251-30100 to be 3/8"x18 fine thread.
Therefore, the threaded block hole is a smaller diameter than the suggested nut.
Has anyone else found an nut (locking collar) that fits the J13 engine?
Thanks,
Keith
