  1. Thanks everyone. I after digging around the dash I found the OEM harness tucked up and taped out of sight. 1984 720 4x4(for future reference) ground was blk blue constant was green red and switched was brown
  2. Man, I need to hang with you, how do you find these dimes? I want to pick up a Goon also. LMK if you find any other wagons. Oh and Im in Va Bch.
  3. Alright, will do. Seems red yellow might be constant and blue is switched? *constant for me was green/red and brown for 12v switched
  4. When I got my 720 the radio power wires were stuck into the fuse panel for the 12V switched and for 12V constant. I forgot to mark where they were originally. Can someone tell me which fuses I can stick the wires into for the radio to work again. OR tell me how you would wire it.

    Charging Issue

Turns out, I'm an idiot. we noticed one plug that looked like a fusible link and it was then I realized the the batt cable is non-existent then found it on the garage floor, threw it in and its happy but the tach no want to read right like it sticks or something.

    Charging Issue

Means there is no continuity, as far as I under stand it. AKA no beep when testing with the multimeter.

    Charging Issue

Okay, for reference the horizontal of the T is the S terminal and the vertical is the L terminal as confirmed by another 720 alt. So I'm not sure I am using the right stuff on the meter, but Bulb is good in cluster. cuz it blinks. I put key to ON position put red prong into S terminal of plug and black prong to frame ground and it seems to be an open loop or OL. So that means that cable is fried or just that somewhere along that wire is fried, right?

    Charging Issue

Ground is nice as hell. Which is L and Which is S? Holding the alt where the pins from a T. Which is horizontal and which is vertical. Thanks for the response. the Light stays on so it not burnt out but, I will check that too when I get my multimeter back tomorrow.

    Charging Issue

Hi er'body. So after I rebuilt my motor, it hasn't been charging, just running off the battery. What I have done so far... Thought it might be the alt, so I swapped it for another out of my parts truck. Still only getting like 11.5 volts. Took old alt to advanced to bench test and it failed. Got it Rebuilt by the best shop around, still only reads 11.5 volts. Inspected the fusible links on the positive. it was kind broken but still did its job, but I replaced it anyway. Still nothing. Wire to alt seems fine. Where should I check next? Really sucks having nothing wrong on the truck but the charging system. Maybe I can install a solar panel and then just drive a couple miles every hours or so.

    Any Thoughts?

I think it would be cool to find a z20e MPFI setup and turbo it like that.

    Any Thoughts?

This is a KAe manifold just sitting on a Z24 for mockup, with an HX35w with a welded gate.

I found why I thought I lost a hose. :/ You might not be able to see that its inside the bell housing somehow.
  15. Sieht gut aus, lip looks nice'n'fresh. I need to clean up my airdam and remount it. I dig those headlight surrounds are they stock? NM saw they be JDM tyte.
  16. Even on stock boost you are already pushing 200, obviously enough to scoot any datto. But turn up the boost on a stock setup and as long as the MAF is good and BOV is recirculated it should do plenty more. Can't wait to see this move.
  17. The Evo 8 intercooler I got with my eclipse was heavy as balls and huge. I say its just a testament to how much this motor is expected to handle. My friend has a 500+hp GSX these motors are too awesome.
  18. I will say on my mom's old focus, its generation was prone to cracked flexplates. you could turn it by hand but as soon as there was tension on the outer ring it would flex and stop its self. Make sure the flexplate/flywheel is good. Not sure if this is what is happening, but food for thought. Also I always wanted a yellow 03 MP5. One of the best looking wagons ever.

Long story short on the motor so far. First motor ran on 3 cylinders, swapped in a motor that was out of time and ran on three cylinders that was recently "rebuilt", I am about done rebuilding the original motor ( head refreshed, block is perfect, new gaskets and water pump.) Initial cleaning. It had been sitting under a tree for a while, also I started cleaning up the bay. I plan on getting it as white with light cleaning as I can and touch up missing paint spots. BMC could use some love. Here's the pretty clean z24. Last Time I updated on Ratsun I posted in the wrong thread( http://community.ratsun.net/topic/11256-84-720-pathfinder/page__p__150002__hl__zombro__fromsearch__1#entry150002 ), so I will update in the right place this time.
  21. my friend got it towed from my mom's house. So its around still somewhere. Out of the two the King Cab is the nicer vehicle. The bushmaster was more work to get back to daily status and the way the cap was attached made it very difficult to fix the rust.
  22. lol, I know Its just sitting in there and looks like a rats nest of vacuum lines. I need to sit in my engine bay and clean the crap out of it. Getting the truck out out of the yard and into the drive way was sketchy and fun. I noticed how shot some of the bushings are, also I love how this truck is designed. so easy to work on. I really wish I had the time to write my own haynes manual because there is a ton of crap that book leaves out. At least torque specs are in it. Cant wait to get Zombro back on the road.
