  1. Yeah just got the email, L should be fine then, if not it'll motivate me to fit into it! ;P
  2. Just orderded myself one! Just wondering if those of you who have ordered the yellow T-Shirts before, do these run on the smaller size or not? I ordered a L but if it does run small, wondering if I should get a XL? Thanks!!!
  3. Word! :P, hahaha, but seriously GLWT!
  4. Sent you a PM, I can ship it to you once you send paypal payment. Thanks!
  5. Last time I filled up my daily (CRX) I paid $3.58/gal, now my next fill up will be $4.37+/gal! Geez, that's nuts!
  6. Yeah it was a perfect night to have a get together. I hate when it's cold and/or misty/raining on us. What a downer those meets are! We welcome all old school imports, so I was glad to see non-Japanese old school cars, so the more the merrier! Thanks Nick, I apprecite it! :) I'll consider hitting up that Santa Row meet one of these days...although I'll just get jealous of the true exotics!
  7. It was a perfect night out and it turned out to be a GREAT turnout! I would guess there were easily 40+ cars there throughout the night, plenty of regulars (except Jimmy) and lots of new cars/folks so it was pretty cool. Unfortunately since I was too busy talking to folks (and I didn't stay to the end) I didn't take any pictures so if any of you that were there did please post them up. On another note, I have to remind all of you to please do not leave your hoods openned and unnattended, it's ok to open it when you want to show it to some guys/gals but just don't leave it open and walk away. Santa Clara considers that a car show and would require a permit, so let's just not give the cash strapped city any opportunity to start writing out tickets. Also not saying anyone does this but as a reminder let's not over do it reving our engines, playing loud music, and definitely no burn outs on the way in or out. This meet's been going on for years now and I for one would like to keep this meet going police crackdown-free! Ok that's the end of my party-pooper speech. :P
  8. Que paso Hector, ya no trabajas los Jueves's? :P
  9. Based on your signature it looks like you have a 1979 Datsun 510 wagon, is that correct? You may want to give as many details as you can since you're not providing any pictures. Just to be sure it's correct I'd suggest at the minimum describe: -Year -Exterior AND interior color -Transmission type (manual or auto) -Stock or modified -Body condition (ding/dents/rust) -Interior condition (rips, tears, etc) -What issues does it have? -Any extra parts that come with the wagon -Anything else you can think of that would help get someone interested in your wagon.
  10. That's the place, it's a big parking lot for OSH, Lucky's, some resturant, a credit union and Starbuck's...see you there! ***EDIT*** By the way, the meets start at 6pm...we did start them later when the daylight time changes but it's just easier to stick to 6pm. :)
  11. Yes Z's show up. The pictures don't always show all the cars that make it out (call it picture-prejudice!) :P So come on down and take pics of your favorites and make sure to post them! :)
  12. Bump for this Thursday night's meet. See you guys there!
  13. Does it come with that custom floor jack handle/hood prop? :P hahahahahaha!
  14. Coming from Mr.510 Makeover, I really appreciate it! :)
  15. Thanks Shagy! I can't remember the brand but I got the aerosal stuff from OSH, where they don't have the aircraft stripper brand that you're used to finding at auto parts stores. It worked out good enough, I think I went through 2 cans for sure and just started using a 3rd.
  16. Thanks Fisch, it was a labor of love that's for sure. I had the lips polished at a local place for what I thought was a good deal considering the next cheapest place wanted over double the price. The hardware wasn't cheap (almost $100 when it was all said and done) but then again I didn't want to risk my life over a few bucks. I need to either swap the tires on my Work Equip 03's or get new ones...decisions decisions! :P
  17. Thanks, it took a little while with my crappy back pain and other things going on so I finally got around to working on them. I bought all my hardware from my local Fastenal (www.fastenal.com), they're great when it comes to helping you out. Their website should give you all the info you need but you can call your local distributor and they will help you out as well. They were really cool, I had a hard time finding those serrated flange nuts so they special ordered them for me from a vendor I found that didn't sell to individuals.
  18. Rear Barrel Before: Rear Barrel Cleaned Up: Barrel Lip Shined Up: Test Fitting: AFTER: All painted, mated, and bolted down. I didn't like the dark wheel look in my 510's so I went with a 'Winters Grey' color
  19. Well it's been a pretty long while since I've updated anything on my wagon but here's what I just finished working on. My Watanabe wheels! Just a warning...it's pretty PICTURE HEAVY! Here's what they looked like on my 1970 510 way back: Here they are on my 1968 510 wagon not too long ago: Wheel Before: Lip Before: Lip Paint Removed: Face and Barrel Separated: Face Prior to Stripping Paint: Face Being Stripped: Face Paint Removed: Face Primered: Face Painted: Logo Painted with thinned out red paint so it would flow nicely: Logo Painted Close Up: Barrel Prepped for Polishing: Hardware Old and New class 12.9 Zinc Coated Bolts with class 8 serrated flanged nuts: I tested each nut and separated the ones that weren't quite right (wobbly)
  20. No problem, it is easy, just don't rush it or you'll end up with one of you hinges looking more like swiss cheese with more holes on it than necessary! Trust me I know! :P
  21. So you are looking for these then: JDM Bluebird Coupe Tail Lights
  22. Here's mine: FRONT wheels are 15 inch x 6.5 inch - Offset: 9mm - REAR wheels are 15 inch x 7.5 inch - Offset: 21mm
