Well,I can't really help you, if you don't like your family, but since I know you like Datsuns, you are welcome to attend, & you are welcome to bring your family along,wether you like them or not.

We are having a Halloween-ish meet/Corn Maze at Fir Point Farms Sunday October 30th Beginning at noon, ending by 5pm. This is a family Friendly event, open to anyone who likes Datsuns, and thier families. I have personally contacted the leadership of both Datsuns NW & Northwest Datsun owners Association & asked them to pass along the invitation to thier members. Thanks Guys. Unfortunately I couldn't possibly remember exactly what I had posted word for word,& since a few people didn't pick up on my sarcasm in that first post, it's probably best to let that go anyway. I kinda like the "Biblical " reference idea, (although I must refuse to look at Al as a stone around my neck ). Just based on the length of my posts alone (via smartphone, at that),I feel some of my posts are much more like a sermon, than a Political speech. I hope I don't get struck by lightning or something like that.

Good point. I still believe in what I said. Although, apparently only Jrock picked up on my sarcasm, with the whole school boy crush,& whatnot part of that first post. I think my original comments are still viewable, where someone replied to them. Anyway, I'm not changing my stance,but enough people I respect thought this was not the appropriate place,that it seemed like the right thing to do was delete my comments. Anyone that cares to discuss the subject is welcome to pm,or contact me. Jrock & I are good enough friends, that I should have had the sense to contact him personally. I will attempt to sort things out with Ted the same way. I suspect that nobody will ever be able to end the drama over the Canby truck,or some people's issues with Al. For my part, I have decided to attempt not to add to the drama. Al has told me that he doesn't want me to feel like I have to be stuck in the middle of it. So,at this point I just want to separate our future club events,from this battle. I will continue to try to work with the other clubs,& others so that our events compliment each other, instead of conflicting. I will continue to work towards the same goals ,of having more Datsun related activities, & to pursue my goal of all 3 clubs working together. Those have been my goals from the first conversation I had with Al about my being part of Datslocos Oregon. I have no other motives. I'm not looking to gain anything personally. If my speaking like a Politician allows me to give our Datsun community more activities to enjoy,I can live with that. Datzenmike,if you think the comments I "deleted" were of some positive value here,feel free to repost them.

Ted, i'll call you to discuss the comments you made. To easy to misread the intent via text,or reading here. Like I said to Jrock,I appreciate you at least contacting me about whatever issue you have with me.

Ted,I cannot think of even one time that I did not help someone when they asked me. The only time even close ,was someone asked if I could pick up a hood or something in Colton, but it would not have fit in my wagon,or I would have done so after work. As for me wasting your time, that isn't my intention. When I need to find a part,I ask you. If you have it,& will sell it at a price I can afford, fine,otherwise I move on. As for asking about Canby 2016 attendance, I asked Steven Pepka the same question, & he didn't seem upset by it,so why are you? Look at the threads & you will see that I was trying at least as much as anyone else, if not more so to get people to attend Canby. I was not part of the decision about the dates of Rat's with Dats, but I did as much as possible to make the best of it. No,i'm not a politician,maybe I sounds like one because I actually think about what I post,& try to spell ,& phrase my comments correctly. I'm damn. Near 50,that's the way we were taught to speak when I was growing up. I realize the don't really teach that in school anymore, but that's the way I speak. As for me being a "pity party", I am not asking for anyone's pity. Sometimes I say things meant more as a warning to others, so they don't have to deal with something unpleasant that I have dealt with. That's not asking for pity,it's more like a "public service announcement ". I post what I believe is true, to the best of my knowledge at the time I post it. Not once have I tried to mislead anyone about what Datslocos Oregon,Al ,or myself are doing, or have done. Like I told Jrock, I consider you a friend, whether we agree or not. If you have an Issue with Al,talk to him,if you have an issue with Datslocos Oregon as a club, feel free to contact me, I will do my best to make things work for everyone. Al startedthe club,has put more wor,etc into it than anyone that doesn't necessarily mean that He & the club are synonymous. If you have an issue with the club, I will try to fix it. If you have an issue with Al,that's between you and him. I defend him because he is my friend,but alot of the stuff you guys mention is personal, not club business. In the future, I will continue to do my best to WORK WITH DNW,Northwest Datsuns Association, & anyone else who is willing so that our events not only don't conflict, but hopefully compliment each other's efforts. Yes,we accept Jews,Latinos, or anyone else. I don't care what your race,or background is, if you like Datsuns, you are welcome.

The green ,with white Datsun rocker panel stripes is my truck. I saw a post asking if it was,or had been for sale recently,but can't find it now. Anyway, Nope...it's not for sale. I am currently scrambling to get it capable of being driven to Datsuns around Bend, August 26th,27th,28th. I'm currently scrambling to get my 521 ready in time to drive to this event. My wagon has been running hot lately,&seems a little tired. It doesn't seem like the best idea to take it out to the desert. Plus ,I really wanted to take the 521 anyway. Any help getting it ready in time will be greatly appreciated!

My Family and I went to Pacific City, & we met up with Al on Hwy 101. We were the only ones that ended up being able to go. I think alot of people attended Datdoug's memorial event (if I had known before I posted our event everywhere, I wouldn't have scheduled ours the same weekend ) ,& others couldn't get the day off. I heard a few people thought 6am on a Sunday was too early, & hopefully the next time I schedule something we can work out a better schedule.

I'm at the French Prarie rest area between Aurora, and Wilsonville waiting for anyone who is going from this area. We're running behind this morning, but it sounds like several people couldn't make it this early. At this point, there is still time to make it,if you're running behind. Contact Al,or myself. I will be going either way.

I was trying to figure out who owned the butterscotch 510 with the plaid panel,while I was walking around talking to people Sunday. That's such a cool idea,especially if there was a mismatched panel there anyway, (is that the case? ). Primer is fine, but the plaid just looks so Damn cool !
