Picked my car up from the muffler shop was running great until about 15 minutes into the drive.....complete loss of oil pressure....so much the chain started rattling....limped it back to the shop.....cooled off......oil pressure back up at 45....WTF??

Yes...and yes....it's the one you asked me about in the thread...brand new Japanese made KA oil pump....never had an issue with the 100 other ones I've used.....but....we did have our first defective Denso Alt at the shop and it was on 5Teezy....

Seems to easy,, but is it a mechanicl or electric gauge,, my electric acts all kinds of weird if i use a tiny bit to much Teflon tape.

I have my recently purchased Oil pressure gauge plugged straight into the block and taped to my window....I sprung for one since I was doing all these engine jobs. ....nice to know what pressure is when you start a fresh engine....
