  1. Worken on it! Ran out of welding rod, so i gotta pick some more up tomorrow and finish up the charge pipe!
  2. I have little throttle response, pedal to the floor, slowly climbs up in rpm. To lean? to fat? I guess its about the same as my dual su's
  3. it runs! just fired it up. started right up with a little gas down each carb. its leakin all over the place though... it sounds like everyones had that problem?? just the seals being dried out for so long? replace them or let them sit with gas in there? it sounds good, hard to tell what it will sound like in the end though, open turbo and all.
  4. Yes! i was so bummed when my car broke down before the last one! We should get another one goin for sometime after canby end of june, or july Check out my build thread, theres a few pics in there.
  5. Nice! that af gauge would piss me off though lol
  6. Im working on the boosted part, just gotta weld the flange onto my header and make all my intercooler piping.
  7. nevermind, intercooler couplers will work as well.
  8. I used radiator hose for my carb to engine mount, and its real sturdy, I need a stock air box boot for my charge pipes,, there all I can find that will fit inthere with the 2 1/2in intercooler pipe
  9. does anyone have one of these? preferbaly in the western wa area, im in a time crunch and dont want to wait for shipping! Let me know
  10. Yeah i hope they exceed my expectations! My only question right now is, the air line goes into the bottom of the bag. Do you just point that away from the tire and it moves and turns with the steering? do you have to leave slack for it? How did you run your top hat? If you have any pics of it, post away!!!
  11. Well damn, i never woulda guessed he was your brother, i love that car, ive only seen it once in person, never met your bro in person, talked to him a couple times online though.
  12. like i said i couldnt find any info on the subject, and my only argument would be, why does it work on a dodge cummins motor? those motors are almost three feet long and the intake is right in between the number one and two cylinder with 4 more cylinders behind that..... note to anyone who hasnt seen one of these, the motor goes back into the tunnel a ways
  13. i know its a very rough sketch, and im sure somewhere on the internet this has been asked before i just cant find it. In my opinion it would work, meybe not the most efficient but im not trying to build an insane motor here. Basically, will the boost flow like that, or would the number one cylinder be getting more air then number 4? (this is what ive been argueing with people about) i personally think that pressure is pressure and if the area has 10 pounds in it and each cylinder draws its intake at different times, then in my head id would all get the same air. but im no rocket scientist.
  14. hook it up to gas if you can, makes welding with a mig sooo much nicer.
  15. Probally the least of your worries right now, but ive been contemplating heading to canby for the day saturday, if you wanna catch a ride let me know! And good luck with the job hunting! Im in
  16. My intake flange! Already got all the runners cut and tached, pics tomorrow
