  1. Hey, so far so good... Ive stopped drinking soda for the most part and have been running often (though not as often as I would like). My work schedule has been weird so I havent been able to keep a steady rhythm that I was initially planning. Its only been a short time so nothing substantial yet, but Im hopeful. Thanks for keeping track!
  2. Yeah most of these things can be thrown into Insomniacs. Still love you Jason.
  3. Whos that dude in that first pic giving the double Ratsun salute?
  4. I thought so too, but he broke it down for me on that build: price of the bike, all the custom metalwork he did himself, custom paint, stretched and lowered, 150cc swap from 49cc, bored and stroked from 150cc to 180cc, most parts were 24kt plated, a bunch of parts shipped from Japan, and he now has a custom scooter that he gets to ride in the most beautiful place in the World (with a top speed of about 150mph). Its all this guy does... he owns that car shop only to feed his Ruckus addiction. His shop is open to all his friends that need space to work and hes a great guy. I had never met the guy in person and when me and a buddy showed up we had just missed a large meet... for a warm welcome, he let us into his shop, let both of us borrow bikes to ride around town in, and gave us free shop t-shirts. Cool guy.
  5. They can eb expensive, but not always. I have a friend in Hawaii that runs the local Ruckus shop in Waikiki. Or should I say European mechanics shop so that he can pay for his Ruckus addiction. Hes shown me some $20k builds he has and they are amazing. Going to a few meet ups with them though, they arent all big money builds. You can do some good work on the cheap. I might have some pictures laying around from the last time I was at a meet.
  6. STOP RUINING MY GLORIOUS MOMENT!!! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL I TELL YOU!
  7. Ruckus is on my buy list for sure; especially when I move back to Cali.
  8. Not a Celica fan, but I do love me some vintage Corolla. I almost bought one before the 510... Personnel, I could do without Yutas hunk of crap. Never understood why that Z got so much attention. Oh well, to each their own.
  9. Well if you dont want to come north to hang with the Seattle guys (whiner) then youre going to have to do the PDX meets then. Canby is the next show that I know of.
  10. Comic, why are they all rear-end shots? Wheres the front views?
  11. That could easily be done in time for Olympia.
  12. You jelly bro? ;) Thank god she didn't hear me start and drive away... The car is a poor runner so it would have killed the mood.
  13. Thanks. Ive seen similar products, but I was hoping to use stock components since I had access to them. I just wanted to make sure that I could get them to work before I spent the money on them. I may just go with an aftermarket unit.
  14. Well if your wiring issues are fixed, is there anything else keeping it from being road-worthy? Theres another meet at the end of February in Olympia. We could get your car running and then cruise down to get you to your first meet.
  15. I dont know why that is... if you like this thread, you really should check out his site. Its nothing but straight epic pictures. I dont speak in riddles. It just seems like in my opinion, theres too much HTF in here. Its like 90% of the content in this thread. There so much of his photos in here that he should just have his own thread... or just go to his site. But like I said, whatever... just my opinion.
  16. Apparently no one understood what I was trying to say. Whatever.
