No hate. It makes perfect business sense. It's just frustrating that after all these years new ones get made... And then you can't use them. Dave is a great guy and no ill will towards his business. I've worked with him in the past and he's a great guy.

I thought the same thing earlier, but didn't want to make a comment otherwise it could be construed as "stalking and being in love." At least it's not a new thread so it's ok.

I bet if you made a build thread and asked questions like this in there it might be a little easier on you... You have a ton of threads for each question that you could have grouped into a nice build thread. Do work. Post pictures. Ask questions. Repeat.

Obviously that's what I will have to do, but buying brand new fenders with factory holes would be nice... For the price I shouldn't have to modify them ^_^ No hate though.

If the price wasnt so high I would consider it... Id take all the decent parts on it (and RHD) and swap it to mine. Then slowly fix the rusty crap to keep it on the road. Not for $6000 though... hell, not for $4500.

Yeah we chit-chatted on IG about how excited he was to pick it up and would treat it right... even after being explained how much work it would be to "finish it up." And now its up for sale for a higher price since now he realizes we were all right the whole time. "If you cant stand the heat, get out of the rust" Some people just cant handle Datsuns I guess. Chock up another owner to this car. Whats this?- 5 in three years now I think.
