You want '78-'79 for an FS5W60A. This is the dogleg shift pattern with reverse above first. Some like the quirky shift, I don't.

What did I say? am I wrong again? YES the pre '80 5 speed is the L dogleg, '80 and on is the A sorry for any confusion.
