  1. White 1971 1800SSS Bluebird Coupe project 4,800,000 Yen https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m1136270832 Datsun Bluebird 510 1800SSS Coupe Finished delivery Full-tap coilovers At that time specification white all painted Appeal exhibition before completion Thank you for viewing! We will relist the vehicle as soon as it is completed, even if we do not have any business negotiations this time. If the preview is after the 20th, we will proceed to the complete image. Due to the recent high prices, it is difficult to find an old car that you like, and dealers are in a tough situation with the high-priced cars they purchased during the coronavirus bubble. In private sales, even if the price is reasonable, it is likely to cost more in the future. Many of them are likely to be cheaply bought Nancharas, and I think it would be difficult to get one's hands on, but there are definitely a number of restored and fully serviced cars in a reasonable price range. It's a good value car, and there are various internal circumstances, such as borrowing the help of a silver craftsman, having it painted by a foreign person, and reducing outsourcing costs to save money, but you can't see the details of the work, so I don't know what kind of work is done. Are you finishing it? Is it unexpectedly putty? This is off-topic, but I worked diligently and lovingly on this one, and I didn't do anything to get away with it or cheat, and when I put it in the store, it was fully restored! Restore! We are finishing and selling the level that is published in . (Actually, I don't think there are any full restorations for domestically produced cars.) This Bluebird would have been perfect with a 5-speed transmission, but it's a 4-speed transmission. The body is an 1800 SSS coupe that was originally solid and the biggest work was removing rust from the side shell and replacing the steel plate with comma 6. As you can see, the entire unit was unloaded and painted. The interior was finished by the previous owner, so it's in good condition. There are no tears in the seats or ceiling, and the engine head was overhauled and installed after cylinder honing to normal specifications. The suspension is full-tap coilovers borrowed from Hakosuka at the front, and rear coilovers and short stroke absorbers. Wheels Hayashi ST14 inch tires are assembled almost face-to-face with new tires. New repro front and rear bumper. Polished grill emblem etc. The flowing tail that I wanted in a coupe was built sequentially using LEDs because the relay punctured and I couldn't restart it. The weather is sturdy so I will reuse it. Operate instruments other than the audio clock. Front spoiler installed. No overrider. Weber Reed Moral External Carburetor New & Funnel. Exhaust manifolder. Replacement of bushings around the suspension. Fuel tank cleaning. Clean fuel line. Filters, water pumps, thermostats, radiator overhauls, brake overhauls, master replacements, lights construction, side slips, all oils and fats replacements, everything we can do is ripe. Options include preliminary inspection agency, nationwide registration agency, garage certification request agency, ETC, delivery by land, 5-speed conversion is only available in the long version, cooler installation, and if you sign an advance contract before completion, at least half of the price must be paid at the time of contract and the expected completion date. Please pay the remaining amount before finalization. Optional work will be settled after the full amount has been paid and the agreed amount will be posted. We do not accept cancellations for any reason, but if we do, we will charge 500,000 yen. The vehicle is at the factory, so if you call us, we will guide you. If we are too busy to come out, we will call you back (don't do it late at night!) Since it is a disassembled car, it is marked as repaired, but there is no accident history. There was some rust. The number of kilometers traveled is recorded on the vehicle inspection certificate. To be sure, it will be treated as unknown. 3. White 1969 1600SSS Bluebird Coupe currently 502,000 Yen https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n1136112237 <Famous/Popular Cars> DATSUN Bluebird SSS Coupe 510 Genuine Leather Top [Video included] 1969 (Showa 44) model sale has started! Datsun Bluebird SSS Coupe 1964 Product Details Thank you for visiting. This is a one-owner Datsun Bluebird SSS Coupe. This is a genuine optional leather top that was rare even in the lineup at the time. The engine had not started for a long time, and although it had been in the garage, there were some corroded parts on the body, which was a disappointing appearance. We recently attempted to restart this popular car and repaired it with as much sheet metal and plastic work as possible. If you are interested, please place a bid. I inherited it from the previous owner in immaculate condition. Vehicle inspections were carried out until 2001, and the car was driven as a main car for about 33 years from when it was purchased new, after which it was kept in a garage without continuing vehicle inspections. The mileage is 120,542 km, but the 5-digit display shows 20,542 km. Since it was originally a production vehicle, the engine could be started by overhauling the carb and refreshing the ignition system. Plug cord and points replaced, dynamo overhauled. The fuel in the tank had been removed and there was little corrosion, so we removed the fuel tank, cleaned and coated it, and replaced the Fehr filter and hoses with new ones. Regarding the brakes, the master cylinder was replaced with a new one, the master back was inspected, and the front caliper was disassembled because it was stuck, and a new seal kit was replaced and overhauled. The pads and brake hose were replaced with new ones. There was no distortion in the disc rotor, so I polished both sides to a minimum. For the rear brake, the drum was polished and the shoes and wheel cylinders were replaced with new ones, and the left and right brake lines were newly made with copper pipes. Regarding the water area, we replaced the radiator core, replaced the cap, water pump, and thermostat, and replaced the radiator hose and heater hose. As for the muffler, the base of the middle drum broke due to corrosion, so I replaced it with a used one in good condition from front to rear. The replaced muffler has some rust, but is in good condition and there are no exhaust leaks. Front pipe gasket replaced. Regarding the exterior body, there was a lot of corrosion that caused severe holes. There are some areas where sheet metal work has been repeated, and we are repairing them by replacing them with iron plates wherever possible. There were holes caused by corrosion in the side sills, corners of the floor, and corners of the trunk, but they were repaired by patchwork with iron plates from the inside and outside. Although it's not perfect, it was expensive and took a lot of time, so I tried to recreate the original body line as much as possible. The hubcaps were genuine used ones from a 13-inch coupe, and the tires were replaced with four new BS tires. The interior has new floor carpets and new floor mats, and the front and rear seats have been sewn, shaped, and reupholstered by a seat specialist using fabric close to the original design. Regarding the seat, it is almost as perfect as a genuine new product. The base of the fender mirror was also broken, so it was replaced with a genuine one that is in good condition. Other replacement parts include idler arm, rear shock bush, stabilizer bush, tie rod boot, wiper motor, ball joint, clutch master cylinder, release cylinder, tension rod bush, bonnet cushion rubber, turn signal, weather rubber, hub bearing, etc. As each part becomes more and more beautiful, I would like to re-cover the ceiling and re-plate the plated parts, but due to budget and time constraints, I have finished this far. All oils and fats have also been replaced. Although not all of the work in progress, we have taken pictures of some parts of the maintenance process, so please take a look. We have replaced and maintained as many parts as possible, but some parts have been inspected and cleaned. Also, I restarted the engine after not running it for a long time, but the conditions change even after driving, so if you want to get the carburetor in good condition, you may need to make adjustments. Since it is sold as is, there is no warranty. If you are an old car or have an understanding of restoration, please do the maintenance, adjustment, painting, etc. according to your preference. There are currently no vehicle inspections. Although it has been maintained, there will be additional charges for vehicle inspection and license plate acquisition. The vehicle inspection certificate return certificate (temporarily deleted copy) will be handed over with a transfer form. I will write the information about the vehicle to the best of my knowledge, but please note that there may be parts of the vehicle information that I don't understand because I am too much of an enthusiast.

  6. White 1970 1600GL Bluebird 4dr 2,200,000 Yen - rare Okinawa spec car https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/l1132893062 Okinawa specification left hand drive column 3 speed gear 510 Bluebird with air conditioner comment [Product condition] ◆A very valuable Okinawa spec left-hand drive, 3-speed column shift, and genuine hanging air conditioner (R124 gas), which is becoming increasingly rare. ◆1970 Datsun 510 Bluebird before Okinawa returned to Japan. It's not just one owner. ◆I have reverted to the full normal version since I previously listed it and listed it again. ◆Currently, the engine is in good condition, but the car is over 50 years old. There are no guarantees. If you do not understand old cars, please do not bid. ◆We repaired the brake line and installed drum brakes on all four wheels. Brake shoes replaced with new ones ◆Because it is a left-hand drive, it is inconvenient to drive on high speeds, so I installed ETC. ◆No claims, no returns. Please do not bid if you cannot understand Japanese or are nervous. ◆The cooler is currently leaking gas. I think it would be better to clean the piping of the cooler hose. No further maintenance is possible here. ◆Sold as is. There is no guarantee. We will exchange a contract. ◆The sheet metal needs a little more finishing. I will give you a new left fender. There are other parts I've collected, one genuine handle, and many others. ◆We received many inquiries from local residents, but most of them were disappointingly ridiculed. ``I can't get a garage certificate,'' ``I can't find a sheet metal factory,'' ``My family is against me,'' ``I can't pay?'' Most of them are things that you have to clear when making inquiries from the beginning, but I can't understand that you want it from the beginning but can't buy it. do not have? There were only people like that. It was hard to deal with people who kept making excuses as to why they couldn't buy it. ◆We welcome inquiries from those who have a solid reason to buy and have sufficient funds. ◆If you think it's strange, add it to the blacklist. ◆I would like to keep the "Oki 5" license plate locally, but I have another car, so I put it up for sale to raise money for the restoration. We have received inquiries, but it is not possible to continue using the Oki 5 license plate in other prefectures. If you can ask someone you know in Okinawa to give your name, please use that method. I can't keep it in my name. ◆Note: Discount negotiations and installment payments are not possible. 7. You are welcome! I need to get back to posting these...
  8. Here are the cars we will be racing with this weekend:
  9. We are 3 days from the race. We are 3 weeks? 3 months? 3 years? away from a running, revving, endurance race surviving K powered 510. --carter
  10. Pulled the radiator out of my VG wagon project It's a "little" bigger than the Champion 510 radiator The fit required some modification to the intake piping and the lower radiator hose is not a "gimme" Garmin lap coach mounted! I can hear it now. "Go that way - really fast! And when something gets in your way - Turn!" (name the movie) The to do list is getting shorter. I'll let Jeff and Paul tell you about recovering from the failed rear wheel bearing.
  11. Okay, April 19th is coming up fast! We need to switch gears and get back to the Swamp Thing! Time to get the Gobstopper out of the garage for a minute... https://datsun510.com/uploads/monthly_2024_04/Video.MOV.a76431134adb4eba6595651c49d04363.MOV Almost low enough for Jeff Return Of The Swamp Thing We have a long list to look over. I need to remember to buy some spare plugs. Let's double check our stub axles shall we? We could really do without another one of those failures.
  12. The last of the Starbursts... Come on engine! Time to fire up!!! Jeff found a local guy with a matching ECU, Key, and Key detector. That is the necessary trifecta for starting one of these things apparently. https://datsun510.com/uploads/monthly_2024_04/03272024swampthing(2).MOV.7949ae2ccad587ccb6428e5c67e3db0c.MOV Well, closer... Time to go through the wiring again one more time. Found a couple errors. Let's try again. https://datsun510.com/uploads/monthly_2024_04/03272024swampthing(4).MOV.5eea7d275f64a80ad6c304f09187e858.MOV Yes!!! Ladies and gentlemen, we have Knoise! (I'm convinced it was the Starbursts!)
  13. Jeff was kind enough to mount my new tires for Slowpoke. With Easter so close - I had to see what they would look like on the Gobstopper!
  14. We finally think we got all the required things hooked up to start the engine! The first thing we find out? Bad starter. https://datsun510.com/uploads/monthly_2024_04/03202024swampthing(3).MOV.f8103526957c0e1ec844be2388fb8157.MOV Or so we thought. Turns out it was the battery! In the process, we found one of the starters purchased from pick-n-pull had the electrical connection glued on!!! What kind of a joke shop does that to a customer? Let's try another battery then... https://datsun510.com/uploads/monthly_2024_04/03202024swampthing(5).MOV.d85e682366795ddd8c06a5a63f83803d.MOV Still no fireworks though... : ( Lots of things we are unsure of at the moment so next week we'll go down the list.
