I will, however, be picking up another motor (hopefully tomorrow?) and at that point, I'll have one for sale. I already told LOZER that he could have it when we were at the swap meet. When I'm ready to sell, he gets first shot at it, we've already talked about it a few times. Sorry NorCal, I'll talk to my brother (has a full auto KA-DE with low miles in storage) and see what he wants to do for you guys. My brother has a full KA24DE swap from a S14 sitting in the storage unit. The ONLY thing it's missing is the MAF, which is about $30 if you buy it from somewhere like Zilvia. The miles are low (around 100k), and it's complete down to the AC lines. The only downside is that it's an Automatic. The good thing is that you know it hasn't been abused, especially at the low miles it has. To do a 5 speed swap, you need a 5 speed ECU (I can help you source one), a 5 speed KA or SR tranny (again, I can help you out), and a flywheel/clutch/pressure plate, which is one of those things I'd replace anyway when buying a used motor unless you had proof they just put something in there. Phil was asking $700 before he found out he didn't have the MAF. I talked him down to $650 for an open "come with money, we have a hoist." PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS IN THIS THREAD, PM ME. denveratsun Posted March 12, 2009 Report Share Posted March 12, 2009 Denver, Colorado...super cool(ish) junk yard owned by a guy I know full ka24de set up from 240sx...trans, driveshaft, motor, wire harness, A/C, air box stuff and mounts...400 bucks. :cool: I have been thinkin about it. My rebuilt, ported and polished, Weber and header equiped L16 just is not meeting my emotional needs anymore!:D Seems like an az load of work though...:confused: Quote Link to comment
