240k Skyline Tacho on L20b

Would a 240k skyline tacho work on the L20b?  Figuring it was a 6 cyl is there a way to make it work on my l20b?

No. A boughten one may have a switch for 4, 6 or 8 cylinders

Apparently doable with the following products that take any output for a 5v then a booster thing which can convert back.

You could buy a proper tach for less. The Skyline tach is worth more if original... sell it.

There is a cluster here for sale for $50 thats why I ask.  Datsun original tach would be prefered not many 620 tachs in aussie land.

I used a TecdhnoVersions box, worked great to convert the VG33 six to the stock 4 cyl 510 tach.

Cheers I think the JRP one works fine as well but I decided I have an aftermarket and will wait for now.  Other things to spend coin on first.
