Pigwarrior
Curious if anyone has much luck trying to fix their locks I've heard its a common issue but I cant find any information about it, my fuel cap lock and passenger door lock are both stuffed, I'm keen not to replace it so I can use the same key for everything ignition and divers door work fine. I'm going to have a go at taking it apart.https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/743785472140115998/1258241187316367491/IMG_4505.jpg?ex=668753ec&is=6686026c&hm=968168e83c09782ca65ed55892b19bffbfd342467fab923f5d9eb940279482ac&=&format=webp&width=496&height=663 Quote Link to comment
flyerdan
Those should be pretty simple, just make sure you have everything well corralled before taking it apart as there are a lot of tiny springs in there. I'm sure you've tried all the spray in techniques; if you can access one of those little ultrasonic jewelry cleaners you might give that a go, then give it a shot of lube specifically designed for locks (Lock-Eze, or something like that here) I've got a .pdf on automotive lock service, you might want to email me for a copy before taking it apart, to get and idea how it works. Bout 8 mb, too big to attach here. 1 Quote Link to comment
