Duncan Posted March 15 Report Share Posted March 15 I have a 620 seat for sale, and a potential buyer asked me if the seat will fit in a '79 620. I always assumed that they were all the same. The only difference I've seen is some of them have a curved cutout in the front for shifter access, and some do not. I would assume they all are interchangeable, but want to make sure. datzenmike Posted March 15 Report Share Posted March 15 Bloody good question. The cab didn't change so they will all fit. Manuals through '73 didn't have the cut out and automatics did. For '74 and on I think all had the cut out. The '74 4 speed shifter is slightly closer to the seat than the earlier 4 speed. I would say measure the width between the slides where they bolt into the floor. Quote Link to comment
