Any concern using an extra magnet tipped plug on the fill port of the differential? Possibly clearance?

I figured since I had an extra magnet tipped plug. I could put it into the fill port and possibly get an extra attempt at catching any metal. But then I was concerned that maybe there might be some clearance issues. Stuck my finger in there didn’t feel anything but not sure…thoughts

I've done this with all my Datsuns. The differential bungs will also fit.

I wouldn't put one on the fill port. The reason they are on the drain port is because that is the lowest section, and any metal debris will land there. If it's suspended up high, it may fall off the magnet and get into something important.
