VIGIL
Anyone know anything about the A15 Fork lift motors. There seems to be a lot of them around for sale in my area. I know there is no provision for water to connect a heater up in the vehicle. Is there any other problems running the motor in a car? Does anyone if the internals are different then a A15 motor from a car. There maybe an issue of them running at sustained RPM's for long periods. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks for your time & help, VIGIL Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I don't see any problems. Are the engine mounts in the same position as the car engine? Oil pan will likely be different. Carburetor would be different. A series LOVE to rev, don't worry about that. The fork lift may even have a governor on it. Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
I think carburetors with governors on them were a safety mandate on forklifts. There is a possibility that the camshaft is different, but I'm only speculating. Quote Link to comment
