bmac21 Posted January 12, 2023 Report Share Posted January 12, 2023 I was in the process of rebuilding the carb for my 91 d21 navara, (z20) but I managed to break it and now I cannot find a z20 replacement anywhere. Is it possible to just buy a z24 carb and throw that right on? Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted January 19, 2023 Report Share Posted January 19, 2023 Well first off the Z20 carburetor is 32/34mm primary/secondary while the Z24 is 34/38. Besides being larger the bolt pattern is, I think, much different. The Z24 carburetor pattern is not a rectangle but has the primary bolts 45.5mm apart while the two bolts closest the valve cover are 50mm apart. If your Z20 carburetor mounting bolt pattern is a perfect rectangle then no. I don't think the Z24/Z20 carburetor bolt pattern matches. If you have the Z24 intake you could swap both. 1 Quote Link to comment
