Pacific coast Datsun
Ok i seem to have a dilema coming up that I'll need to deal with soon. ive relocated the front leaf spring perches a few inches back [towards the axle], combine that with the offset of my rims [17 inch Denalis] what i discovered is that the inner perches are & will rub against the e-brake cables. Question to you guys is this...1. Is there a way to extend the cables a few inches safely. 2. Can i simply swap in a cable set off KC 620 ? Quote Link to comment
Llittle_Llama
what i was thinking of doing is swapping to a 240sx e brake cable and handle once my MR2 seats go in in a few weeks, its really easy to shorten the cable, so there should be no real problem. i HATE the under dash handle! Bugeye
im not 100% on this but i think the kc and long bed cables are the same length, you can try it and see if it works Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The back cables might be the same length but the front one from the handle bask that workx them should be longer on the longer frame. Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
TY guys. I may just make new cables alltogether. I know a place that sells cable by the foot. In the rear i may have to make "guides" to keep the cables from rubbing the inside lip of the rims which is whats happening now. Quote Link to comment
