Lechuga truck
What’s goin on, first post on here and I’d like time advice. I just bought this beaut two days ago. She needs double clutched into second but she’s awesome besides. It’s an 84’. My issue right now seems to be when I’m driving sometimes going into gear it almost feels like it’s choking or chugging and then it’ll catch up. Doesn’t last up a bill in 2nd and dies at just about every red light. It’s all stock and I have some small parts on the way. Any advice on what I should do from here ?? Thanks for reading. Stoffregen Motorsports
Hard going into gear is either misadjusted clutch or the wrong gear oil in the trans. Redline MT-90 is good for hard shifting. If it's been sitting a while, try replacing the fuel filter and see if that helps with the power issue. BTW - dually, dooley or DRW (dual rear wheels), but not duly. Quote Link to comment
